Worship

Children are always welcome in worship, but we do provide nursery care for children birth through 5 years old. Our caring staff provides a safe enviornment where your child can play, learn, and make new friends. Children are escorted by their caregivers into the sanctuary for "Time with the Younger Church". Here they can be introduced to our worship services and hear a brief message just for them given by the pastor or other leader of the congregation. Then caregivers take them back to the nursery until you pick them up after worship.

Sunday School

During the Sunday School hour, children in the nursery are engaged in activities that include: Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, free play using "Wee Believe" Toddler and Preschool lessons. Children are then welcome to stay in the nursery during worship for a light snack, more activities and play.

Comfort and Safety

We want you and your child to feel safe and comfortable while under our care. When you check your child into the nursery we'll have you fill out an information form for you child. We'll give you a pager so that we can "buzz" you to return to the nursery should your child need you.

Per Covenant Presbyterian Church's adopted Child Protection Policy, all paid staff and volunteers have a completed Information Form, verified references and background check on file in the church office.
